Use bitN (or ext SMB if XGO and GGO) to gate the input clock
Use bitN (or ext SMB if XGO and GGO) to gate the input clock. This signal
is clocked in with the other input samples. Data is only processed when
this bit is sampled high. Currently only 0, 1, and X are supported.
