- Horizon: contour describing the area on the surface of the earth that is visible from a given point (SVA or SVB)
- Horizon At Altitude: contour describing the area visible from a given point when objects are assumed to be at a given altitiude
- Calculation Details:
- Finds Angle of Arrival from SVA or SVB to different grid intersects
- Uses that information to calculate points where AoA matches the local horizon
- The resolution of the grid affects the precision of the lines
- Horizon at altitude goes an extra step and extends the horizon rays to form a
contour describing the area visible assuming objects off the surface of the earth
- Cone sections can be drawn to either the Target (default) or the Pointing Position
- Number of Cone Sections is configurable: 1=Footprint
- TDOA: contour describing time difference of arrival
- FDOA: contour describing frequency difference of arrival
- Modes are:
- Line: single contour line
- Contour: series of contour lines, with number or delta specified
- Region: two contour lines showing region
- None: no line shown
- Calculation Details:
- Calculations are based on SVA/SVB, Site, and Target location
- Finds Time or Frequency Difference of Arrival for different grid intersects
- Uses that information to calculate the actual contour lines
- Grid Size X and Y are both controllable and determine:
- Resolution on rendering of TDOA/FDOA lines
- The number of points/intersect checked on the TDOA, FDOA, or Horizon calculations
There is individual color control for Target, Site, TDOA/FDOA, Horizon, and other items
