Type 2000

Type 2000 files contain a two-dimensional array of data values, such as an ambiguity function or power spectra versus time. The file is organized into frames, each of which looks like a Type 1000 file. A Type 2000 file is simply a stack of frames where each frame corresponds to the x-dimension and is stacked in the y-dimension. The header describes both the physical abscissa information for the frame, and the physical ordinate (y-axis) information for the stack:

  • physical abscissa (frame) units
  • physical abscissa (frame) starting value
  • physical abscissa (frame) increment
  • frame length
  • physical ordinate units
  • physical ordinate starting value
  • physical ordinate increment

Advanced Capabilities for Type 2000 Files

Plotting Multiple Rasters on a Single Plot
  • Use CONVERTARGB with /ALPHA0COLOR to convert each raster file to DirectColor file. If the /ALPHA0COLOR is not specified, it is assumed to be BLACK.
    • convertargb IN=psd1 OUT=raster1 MIN=0 MAX=32 ALPHA=200 COLORMAP=cmap32 /ALPHA0COLOR
    • convertargb IN=psd2 OUT=raster2 MIN=0 MAX=32 ALPHA=200 COLORMAP=cmap32 /ALPHA0COLOR
  • Plot the rasters specifying them as Direct Color files
    • plot raster1{LAYER={DC=true}}|raster2{LAYER={DC=true}} /type=raster XMIN=0
