Factory-Supported Option Trees

The following option trees are distributed with each NeXtMidas baseline and maintained by the framework manager:

  • DSP - Digital Signal Processing commands.
  • HWC - Hardware Control Functionality commands.
  • SYS - Shell code, infrastructure libraries, and commands that are fundamental to NeXtMidas operation
  • AUDIO - Audio Control Functionality commands.
  • DATABASE - Database Control Functionality commands.
  • MINIO - S3 Bucket File IO Support. (Beta version)
  • NET - Networking Libraries. (Generally user-contributed and without full test suite.)
  • UCL - User-Contributed Library commands. (Not officially supported and subject to change without notice.)
  • VNC - VNC Viewer/Client Support.
  • WEBVNC - NeXtMidas as a noVNC server.
  • XBC - X-Midas Backwards Compatibility.

If you change code or documentation files within these option trees, realize that your changes will be overwritten without warning the next time you update your baseline. If changes are required to fix bugs or documentation errors, please send a copy of your modified files to the framework manager for review and possible inclusion in the next release. If you're changing command code to add new features, you are strongly encouraged to house your version in a locally-maintained option tree.
