• Panel Configuration:
  • To modify the configuration of a panel, simply middle-click (MMB) on the panel and select Configure and then Modify.
    
    • While in "modify mode" the lines will be drawn in yellow.
  • While in "modify mode" the lines can be moved around and (via MMB) new lines can be added.
  • There are two other parts to a panel: HLine and VLine. These are the movable dividers between the panes.
    • When adding a HLine or a VLine use a LMB click, otherwise you risk having multiple lines being added on top of each other.
  • Once the lines are in place use the MMB to add the panes.
  • Using MMB on a panel allows the title to be set and allows the graphical primitives to be attached.
    
  • When done MMB on the panel and select Configure and then Save.
    • The default save location is usually correct (i.e. same location as macro and named <macroname>.mmp).

X-Midas Users Take Note:
The X-Midas LEARN function can be used to save the relative position of various windows; when the setup is saved in NeXtMidas the relative window position is also saved. The one key difference between window position in X-Midas and NeXtMidas is that X-Midas saves window position and size in percentage-of-screen-width while NeXtMidas uses absolute pixel coordinates.
