  • Upgrading
    • It is safe to have multiple NeXtMidas versions installed and running at a time.
      • Most applications that are build on NeXtMidas, will deploy with their own copy of NeXtMidas.
        • If a copy of NeXtMidas is deployed with a given application, it is safe to assume that this was the version of NeXtMidas used duing validation testing.
        • It is possible that the version of NeXtMidas being used is a "modified" version (i.e. it has some modifications in it that are not in an official release of NeXtMidas).
        • When an application is deployed with a copy of NeXtMidas, one should assume it is the Factory's responsibility to manage any upgrades.
    • When an old version of NeXtMidas is no longer in use, it can be deleted.
      • NeXtMidas is entirely contained in the NeXtMidas directory created during installation (e.g. nxm242). Deleting this directory will completely remove NeXtMidas.
