  • NeXtMidas is usually taught in one of two class settings:
    Full Class (3½ - 4 days)
Designed for application developers who will be building applications using the NeXtMidas framework.
Covers everything from basic Midas concepts to building and deploying a full-scale NeXtMidas application.
This is intended as a hands-on class with more than half of the class time spent on instructor-directed labs.
Students are expected to have some programming experience.
(Java or X-Midas experience is helpful, but not required.)
    Overview Class (½ day)
Designed for program managers and system administrators.
Covers basic Midas concepts, and a few of the basic NeXtMidas commands.
Includes modules on NeXtMidas installation and common support and maintenance issues.
This is an instructor-lead class with many demos.
Students do not need any prior programming experience.
