  • Download NeXtMidas:
    • Instructions for obtaining NeXtMidas code is available at http://nextmidas.com/.
    • NeXtMidas is also available on GForge (for those with access to that system).
    • There are two types of install files available. You will want the one marked "Windows" (the .zip version).
    • Save the file in the directory under which you want NeXtMidas installed (many users use c:\nextmidas\).
  • Unzip NeXtMidas:
    • Unzip NeXtMidas into the directory you saved the .zip file.
      • Most users will find that using WinZip is the easiest way to do this.
      • Some unzip tools allow you to disable the "keep directories", if your unzip tool has this option, do not use it.
    • When you unzip NeXtMidas it will create a directory with a name similar to nxm370. This directory is the NeXtMidas installation directory (the path to this is called NMROOT).
