  • Using Templates with LIST2:
    • Four ways to build templates for LIST2:
      • Legacy XDATALIST template files (.prm/.key) 
        nM> list2 testxy3000.prm mytemplate.prm
      • Table files (.tbl) 
        nM> list2 testxy3000.prm mytemplate.tbl
      • Table results 
        nM> res mytable {ABSC={FGCOLOR=RED},ORD={FGCOLOR=BLUE}}
nM> list2 testxy3000.prm mytable
      • Table on the command line 
        nM> list2 testxy3000.prm {ABSC={FGCOLOR=RED},ORD={FGCOLOR=BLUE}}

X-Midas Users Take Note:
The LIST2 command provides backwards-compatible support for the XDATALIST templates used in X-Midas. The CONVERT command has functions that can convert an XDATALIST template into a table template.
